Six people have been arrested and 3 tons of hashish seized after raids on two villas in the Madrid suburbs of Villalbilla and Las Matas.
The police investigation began several months ago when the authorities learned of an organisation involved in drug trafficking in various parts of Spain. The organisation was led by 67 year old T.C.C. who used a number of vehicles and heavy security to move the drugs.
The police also noticed regular visitors to two villas where people left with small packages and when they raided the premises they caught the six individuals red-handed as they packaged drugs for sale. Police seized 3 tons of hashish, €5,500 in cash, six vehicles, money counting machines and a vacuum packaging machine.
