The Catalan police are investigating the death of a 55 year old woman whose body was found on Tuesday afternoon at her home in L’Ametlla de Merola in the Barcelona district of Berguedó.
The body, which showed clear signs of violence, was discovered at around 12:45 on Tuesday afternoon and the police are now busy taking statements from neighbours and potential witnesses in order to try and discover the identity of the perpetrator or perpetrators of the crime.
