Tragedy in Totana, Murcia, on Monday evening when an eight month old baby drowned in the bathtub at the family home in plaza de la Maderera.
The incident occurred at around 21:40, the mother alerting the authorities that her baby was drowning.
Medics arrived on the scene very quickly to find the baby in cardiac arrest. All efforts to revive the baby were unsuccessful.
