A mere eighteen months after the completion of the works, the new Health Centre in La Cala del Moral, Rincón de la Victoria, is scheduled to open on Monday January 30th.
The date was set after ‘administrative difficulties’ relating to the elevator and air conditioning were resolved. Initially it was thought that some last minute delays would postpone the opening until February.
The unions are committed to the principle that the opening of the new centre will involve the hiring of additional staff and they will be holding a meeting in February to verify that this has occurred. If it doesn’t, there are plans for protest demonstrations.
