The bodies of two people, an elderly married couple, were found at their home in the parish of Veiga das Meás, Vilardevós (Ourense) on Friday morning. Both had suffered gunshot wounds.
The couple, 74 year old A.L.B. and his 66 year old wife J.L.B., lived alone in their home and were found dead in their bed. A gun was found near to the man.
Earlier on Friday morning, three handwritten notes appeared in town, one placed on a bulletin board, stating that the couple were dead. A neighbour saw one of the notes and went to investigate. He found the door to the house was unlocked and a window had been smashed. He then discovered the bodies and alerted the Guardia Civil.
