Ronda Council has approved a €295,000 project, financed through Provincial Council funds, to renovate a section of Avenida Málaga from the colegio Miguel de Cervantes to the junction with calle La Toma, the works to include one of two new roundabouts destined for the town.
The original plan, based on funding agreed in 2007, was to renovate the entire length of avenida Málaga. However, a condition of the funding agreement was that the various projects had to be finished during 2012 and, as this is no longer seen as feasible, the remainder of the works have been shelved.
