‘Nerja, recuerdos de papel’ – ‘Paper memories’ – is a new book about the history of Nerja by José Miguel Ortuño Rodríguez which covers the history of the town from 1889 to the present day through clippings, feria programmes, brochures and sundry other items.
The book, which has a preface by local writer Plácido Iranzo, contains 125 pages of historical memorabilia and is on sale for €13 at various bookshops in Nerja. An initial 500 copies, in Spanish, have been printed.
