The Council has announced the start of work to fix the track leading up to El Pinarillo, badly damaged by the weather over the past few years and considered a hazard for vehicles.
The work will start at the Fuente del Esparto and continue along the track almost to the Nerja Caves. In addition to compacting the gravel, the plan is to construct a number of viewpoints along the way.
The Council has, on numerous occasions, asked the Junta de Andalucia to initiate repairs on the track, the last time being in February.
