Torrox Council is developing an ‘active aging’ programme which, amongst other things, is resulting in the accumulation of costumes, recipes, songs, legends games and other items relating to the municipality.
The initiative is apparently proving very popular, not only amongst the elderly but also with the rest of the community, particularly children.
The programme is being developed by the Department of Social Welfare.
