The municipality of Salares, population 250, will be the first in the Axarquia to have spa and sauna facilities designed and built especially for the elderly residents.
The investment so far is €120,000 from the Stable Employment funds and the project is now awaiting the installation of a whirlpool and various pieces of gym equipment.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
