Owners of a garage or who have a car entrance are liable to pay the Car Entrance Tax and the deadline for payment is August 6th. You can arrange for the tax to be automatically paid by your bank by visiting the Tax Office, Patronato de Recaudacion, in calle Axarquía 3 (opposite the entrance to avenida Castilla Perez), and setting up a standing order.
It is obligatory to pay monies owed to municipal authorities on time and in full, unlike the other way round where it appears to be optional and in their own time.
