A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting incident on Tuesday morning in Churriana, Málaga, which resulted in a 30 year old woman being admitted to hospital in a critical condition.
The incident occurred at around 04:10 on Tuesday morning. The woman was apparently talking to someone in a car when a man came up to her and opened fire. She underwent four hours of surgery at the Hospital Clínico Universitario in Málaga and is now in the ICU.
The incident is being treated as a ‘neighbourhood incident’ and not a case of gender violence.
