The Council has approved yet another motion requesting the Public Ports Agency to reconsider using Nerja as the site for the proposed marina rather than Calaceite in Torrox.
The motion requests the Public Ports Agency to conduct a feasibility study into building the marina in the zone designated in its PGOU (General Plan). The Council says it has rectified various technical issues when the original draft plan was submitted.
The motion also requests that all the documentation and proceedings relating to the marina which have been realised by the Junta de Andalucia be officially handed to Nerja Council.
