As from September 1st, Council employees will start working 37.5 hours per week instead of the current 35 hours per week to comply with Law 2/2012 of June 29th relating to the State Budget.
To achieve this, the Town Hall will open its doors at 07:45 each day and close at 15:15. Public access will be from 07:45 to 14:15.
During the summer, municipal employees have been working from 08:00 to 14:00 under the existing collective agreement. Individual departments have complete independence and flexibility as to how the ‘lost’ hours are made up during the rest of the year.
