Torrox Council is proposing to spend €250,000 on renovating about a dozen rural roads in the municipality with a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Junta de Andalucia, the Council only having to pay the IVA.
The grant application was proposed by the PSA spokesman in the previous administration but was constantly blocked by the regional authority. The current Councillor for Agriculture is Lauren Salvatierra (PSOE).
