Police in Benalmádena have detained a 43 year old man in connection with death of his 76 year old mother whose body was found at her home on Sunday.
Initial results of an autopsy suggest that death was possibly caused by suffocation. The detainee, a 43 year old man suffering from schizofrenia, is being held in custody in the Psychiatric Unit of the Hospital Clínico Universitario in Málaga. He is said to have suffered a psychotic break.
