A 16 year old cyclist was knocked down and killed on Wednesday in the El Marquesado area of Puerto Real, Cádiz. The driver of the car fled the scene but later presented himself at the Guardia Civil station and confessed to having hit someone.
The driver of the vehicle, a young man, tested positive for alcohol and is now being held in prison on a charge of negligent homicide.
