A 55 year old woman was injured after being shot in the shoulder, allegedly by her partner, a 67 year old man who later shot himself in an apparent suicide.
The incident occurred at around 16:00 on Friday in a bar in calle Trucillas in the Pinilla area of León. After being shot, the women left the bar to seek help. Several people notified the authorities and she was taken to hospital in León.
The alleged shooter died after apparently commiting suicide.
