A 53 year old woman in Barakaldo, who was about to be evicted from her home, died this morning after throwing herself from the balcony of her apartment. She leaves a 21 year old son behind.
The Coroner in Barakaldo expressed his regret at the situation and called for calm by those facing foreclosure or eviction.
The Minister for Justice has called for immediate action and has asked financial institutions to be ‘sensitive’ in such situations.
