Ambulance drivers will today be gathering at a number of points in Andalucia, mostly at the gates of hospitals and regional health offices, to protest against pay cuts and possible redundancies in the sector due to budget cuts.
Further similar demonstrations are planned for November 27th, December 4th and December 12th and a series of four hour strikes are planned for December 18th and January 8th and 15th. The strikes will take place from 08:00 to 12:00.
The unions are also considering general strikes at a later date.
