It was another night of rubbish containers being set on fire in Jerez de la Frontera, particularly in the southern part of the city, as the strike by the employees of Urbaser continues.
A meeting last night between employees and the management of Urbaser ended without agreement but both sides have agreed to resume talks today, Wednesday.
Although the workers’ committee has distanced itself from the vandalism occurring in the city, there are also claims that it is the workers themselves who are encouraging residents to take to the streets.
