As from today, Tuesday, the toll cost on the AP-4 between Cádiz and Sevilla goes up by one euro, the third price increase in the past three months. In one year the toll cost has gone up by 13% and with no alternative route in this case, users are understandably not very happy.
The AP-4 is not the only toll road where prices have been on the increase, generally by between 2% and 4%, and in many cases the justification is that road traffic on such highways has decreased by 10% in the past year. Is there any wonder? If you want to encourage people to use it, raise the price. Very sound.
