The Council is st to present, and obviously approve, two motions relating to an employment workshop and a school workshop, despite the fact that the Junta de Andalucia has failed to provide the funds for two similar workshops apparently agreed in 2011.
The two new workshops are designated ‘Calahonda 1’ and ‘Carabeo 1’. The employment workshop would cost €1,359,892 with the Council contributing €32,000 and the school workshop would cost €1,777,395.60 with the Council contributing €60,000.
Two similar workshops, ‘Acueducto del Águila’ and ‘Nerja Sierramar’ were agreed in 2011 but the funding of €1,528,407.80 has not been forthcoming from the regional authority. The workshops were supposed to start in December 2012 at the very latest.
