The Cabinet has approved the automatic renewal, every six months, of the ‘Plan Prepara’ which provides financial aid to the unemployed who do not receive any other form of benefits.
The amount is €450 per month for those unemployed with dependants and €400 for the remainder. The assistance will continue to be automatically extended until unemployment falls below twenty percent.
