National Police, acting upon information received from the authorities in Germany and Norway, have arrested five people and seized 2,600 kilos of hashish at a warehouse on an industrial estate in Huércal-Overa, Almeria.
With the data provided by Europol a broad operation was established to locate a lorry suspected of transporting drugs for distribution. The lorry was located in Tembleque, Toledo.
The lorry then headed down to a warehouse in Huércal-Overa where the occupants proceeded to swap the cargo for pallets of chicken breasts. However, they were surprised in the act by police officers and were duly arrested.
