The registration period is now open for the tenth edition of the ‘Nerjamujer’ Letter Writing Contest which is open to anyone over the age of 16 years and residing in Andalucia. The subject of this years contest is ‘Letter to a child with disabilities’.
Entries must be in Castillian Spanish, 1 to 5 sheets of A4 and double-spaced on one side only.
Manuscripts must be submitted in quadruplicate, signed with a pseudonym and accompanied by a sealed envelope in which the pseudonym also appears as well as: name and surnames of the author, address, telephone, ID number and email address.
Entries must be original, unpublished and must not have been entered in any other contest. The Council retains the right to publish the winning entry.
The deadline for submission of manuscripts is 31 March 2013. Entries may be taken to the Municipal Centre for Information for Women on Calle Hernando de Carabeo 80, by post to the Centro Municipal del Información a la Mujer- Ayuntamiento de Nerja- calle Carmen, 1- 29780 Nerja (Málaga) or by email to [email protected].
The contest has a first prize is €200 and the results will be announced in April 2013.
