Quite a bit of snow covering many of the surrounding hills, giving a chill wind, and there was even ice down on El Playazo beach on Thursday morning. With snow appearing all over Andalucia, a quick road trip to Competa was suggested by someone who has never seen snow close up before, and so off we went.
It was very cold and the surrounding hills all had snow, but there was nothing on the ground anywhere near the town. It did rain, though! The Andalucia Day celebrations and the inauguration of the Plaza de la Vendimia were, however, interrupted by hailstones.
Meanwhile, back in Nerja, Team Group have left their premises next to the Bar Cavana after umpteen years and are now located at number 77 calle Carabeo.
