CK’s in calle Chaparil, opposite prolongación Antonio Millón, in Nerja opened on January 12th 2013, taking over the premises formerly occupied by La Candela. Owners Kurt and Cindy, who moved down from Almerimar, have made a few improvements, although nothing too drastic, resisting the almost normal urge these days to totally gut the place.
The seating is now at a more convenient height, there are a few logical changes to the bar area and work is being done on the rear, enclosed terrace to make it a more convivial place to relax and enjoy a drink.
Food is on offer at CK’s, a variety of home-made dishes at reasonable prices, such as Cindy’s home-made pies (beef and ale, steak and kidney, chicken) served with chunky chips or mash, veg and gravy, or chicken breast filled with garlic butter and wrapped in bacon.
Jovial hosts and a nice place to sit and have a relaxing drink. A beer will set you back €1.50.
