Three people died on Monday when a bridge on the N-420 in Fuencaliente, Ciudad Real, collapsed due to flooding of the río Yeguas.
Rescue teams had gone to the bridge to rescue the driver of a lorry when they discovered that there were other fatalities. Further down they discovered the body of a man in a passenger vehicle. Two people died in the lorry.
