Two children, aged three years and nine years, were run over this morning as they crossed the road with their mother at a pedestrian crossing in calle Orson Welles, Málaga.
The incident occurred at 09:00 on Friday morning. The younger girl suffered minor injuries but the nine year old has serious head injuries and is in a serious condition in hospital. The mother was also slightly injured.
The driver of the car, a 31 year old man, tested negative for alcohol and drugs. He was arrested at the scene and is now awaiting a court appearance.
