El Rey de la Tapa is a recent addition to the scene at Burriana beach in Nerja and is located almost opposite Ayo’s at the far end. The bar is spacious and there is a terrace. The bar counter is stone, which is a nice touch but can make your drink wobble on occasion.
Very pleasant, good service, tapas are a good size and tasty and the atmosphere is relaxed. A beer and a tapa, €1.80. So now we have two good tapas bars on Burriana beach, El Rey de la Tapa and La Traiña.
