Barcelona are La Liga champions after Real Madrid could only draw 1-1 at Espanyol on Saturday evening.
Espanyol took the lead midway through the first half with a strike by Stuani and it wasn’t until the 57th minute that Real drew level with a goal from Higuaín.
A 74th minute goal from Arribas gave Osasuna a 1-0 victory over Getafe. Athletic Bilbao were 2-1 winners against Mallorca with goals by Aduriz and Llorente, Giovani getting a late consolation goal for the Islanders who are firmly rooted to the bottom of La Liga.
Deportivo, occupying the third relegation spot, lost 1-0 at Valladolid, Javi Guerra the scorer.
