This past weekend saw the presentation of prizes for the XIV Short Story Contest organised by the association ‘The Adventure of Writing’. The theme this year was ‘romantic stories’.
First prize went to Josefina Solano Maldonado from Alhaurín el Grande for her story ‘Si no te conozco no he vivido’.
In second place was Juan Carlos Peña Martínez from Almuñécar with a story entitled ‘Renacimiento’.
In third place was Plácido Iranzo Acosta from Nerja with a story entitled ‘La chica de la curva’.
The jury charged with deciding the prizes comprised Ana María Durán, José María Centeno, Beatriz Reinoso, Pedro Carlos González and Estrella Rebollo.
