The Málaga Port Authority has begun to repair and paint the lighthouse in Torre del Mar, a project which is expected to take one month.
The Council requested the repairs eight months ago due to structural problems as well as the need for a lick of new paint. The lighthouse will be painted blue and white to match the flag of Málaga province.
