Extremadura is the latest region to guarantee nutritional meals to children at risk of social exclusion or whose parents are experiencing extreme hardship, with 18 school canteens remaining operational during July and August.
The canteens will provide three meals per day from Monday to Friday each week. The dining rooms will be open in Badajoz (4), Cáceres (3), Mérida (3), Plasencia (2), Don Benito (2), Almendralejo (2), Navalmoral (1) and Villanueva de la Serena (1).
