A 28-year-old man died on Sunday at Almerimar beach in El Ejido, Almería, presumably from drowning.
The Emergency Services were alerted at 17:05 when several individuals reported that two Rumanian men had entered the water but only one had come out.
Some individuals apparently claimed that the two men seemed intoxicated when they went into the water.
