There have been a number of serious injuries and fatalities over the years as a result of jumping and diving from the rocks on some of Nerja’s beaches, but it doesn’t seem to deter anyone.
Rocks are commonplace just under the surface in many areas, you can see the shadow, if not the rocks themselves, when you look down from vantage points such as the Balcón de Europa.
