A 13-year-old boy is in a serious condition in the Hospital Miguel Servet in Zaragoza after being struck by lightning.
The boy was near the Petrechema peak in the Valle de Ansó, Huesca, on an excursion from a camp site when he was struck by lightning, the strike hitting his head and exiting through his feet.
The child was evacuated by helicopter, first to Hecho and from there to the Hospital Miguel Servet in Zaragoza.
