Friday saw the second fatal industrial accident in just one week in the town of Vera, Almería, after a man was run over by a bulldozer.
The incident occurred under the rio Antas bridge on the AL-7101. The man, linked to an electricity company, was hit by a reversing bulldozer. The driver of the bulldozer had apparently not been aware of anyone behind him when he began reversing.
Efforts were made to revive the injured man but his injuries were so serious that he died at the scene. The driver of the bulldozer was treated for shock.
