A 29-year-old immigrant died on Thursday morning on a boat making its way from North Africa to Spain.
The boat, with eight sub-Saharan males on board, was intercepted in the waters not far from Tangier. One of the passengers was dead after going into cardiac arrest for, as yet, unknown reasons.
The boat and its occupants were taken to the port of Tarifa in Cádiz province.
