Two people have been arrested and 2,072 marijuana plants have been confiscated following a raid on a plantation in Archidona.
The plants, mostly over one metre tall, were camouflaged by sweet corn. The plantation was in an area where access is quite difficult.
The two detainees, aged 51 years and 26 years, are both residents of Almayate and were arrested on suspicion of crimes against public health.
