Two Spanish nationals have been detained at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after 12 kilos of cocaine was found hidden in their suitcases.
An x-ray of the luggage revealed suspicious items and witnesses were summoned and the two passengers were forced to open their suitcases.
The pair, a 44-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, had arrived in Buenos Aires from Asuncion in Paraguay and were waiting for an Iberia flight to Madrid.
