A 36-year-old man, reportedly released from prison yesterday, has been arrested in Málaga on suspicion of killing his 26-year-old girlfriend and 5-year-old son.
The bodies of the woman and child were found in one of the bedrooms of the house located in calle Isaac Peral, on the corner of Avenida de Europa, in the La Luz district of Málaga. There were apparently no signs of violence on the bodies and autopsies are being carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
Neighbours are reported as saying that the man, straight out of prison, went to see his girlfriend with whom he was in the process of separating, although it was something he didn’t want.
A police officer was injured during the arrest.
