A 16-year-old youth has been arrested for allegedly killing his mother at their home in avenida Sainz de Varanda in Zaragoza.
The youth apparently had an argument with his mother relating to her separation from his father and first punched her, rendering her unconscious, and then fetched a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her several times near the heart.
The youth then called his father who, when he saw the body, called the authorities. An autopsy is being carried out to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the death. The victim was 50-year-old M.T.C.B.
