Six municipalities in Jaén and Granada have denounced the electricity company Sevillana Endesa due to numerous electrical problems being experienced by residents as a result of insufficient power being maintained in the area.
Power cuts, problems with domestic appliances and some companies having insufficient power to carry out their business or start machinery are just some of the items the residents want addressed. The affected municipalities are Cuevas del Campo and Freila, and Quesada, Pozo Alcón, Hinojares and Huesa in Jaén.
Around 17,000 people are affected by the situation. The solution to the problem is the commissioning of a sub-station in Pozo Alcón where the local Council already prepared a project but it was not carried out by Sevillana Endesa.
