Six municipalities in Jaén and Granada have denounced the electricity company Sevillana Endesa due to numerous electrical problems being experienced by residents as a result of insufficient power being maintained in the area.
GENA-Ecologists in Action denounce authorisation for sunbeds on El Cañuelo beach
The environmental consultative group GENA-Ecologists in Action has submitted an official complaint (denuncia) to the Environmental Prosecutor about the decision to grant permission for a sunbed and umbrella concession on El Cañuelo beach in the Maro-Cerro Gordo natural area. GENA says the authorisation is the result of continuous pressure from the Nerja Council.
Two denounced for tattooing with banned substances
Two people in Rincón de la Victoria have been denounced by the Guardia Civil after they were caught using banned substances for temporary henna tattoos and for carrying out such tattooing without the appropriate sanitary measures.

The Court of First Instance and Instruction Number 1 in Torrox has archived yet another denuncia against the head of the Local Police in Nerja, the fifth such dismissal of a complaint brought by SIP-AN. The judge ruled that the latest action did not relate to a criminal offence.

It looks like music is no longer on the menu at Viva Nerja in El Zoco following a number of denuncias, presumably for acoustic pollution. Shame, but I did wonder how long it would last before someone complained. Unfortunately, one could clearly hear the music down by the Hotel Nerja Club and that did not bode well.
