The Provincial Court of Jaén has convicted a man from Bailen of killing his five-year-old niece by crashing in to her with his car after having a family dispute.
The Provincial Court of Jaén has sentenced the 36-year-old man to a total of 40 years in prison for killing his five-year-old nice by running her over in Bailén in January 2012 in the presence of her uncles – sister and brother of the accused -, after being considered the perpetrator of that crime and two others of attempted murder.
Specifically, the Court has imposed a sentence of 17 years and six months for the crime of murder, and another two of eleven years and three months for each of the other two crimes.
