The Council has presented a project to the Public Works and Housing Department of the Málaga Provincial Council relating to the construction of a bicycle lane between Nerja and the village of Maro.
The proposal falls under the Ciudad Amable – Friendly Town – programme being developed within the province and to which 43 municipalities have signed up.
Once the municipalities have submitted their proposals they will be assessed and valued in preparation for the obtaining of grants for carrying out such work. Fourteen municipalities, including Nerja, have so far submitted their proposals.
