In absolute terms, the Costa del Sol registered the biggest increase in hotel visitors so far this year, an extra 136,496 or 4.21%.
Also on the increase, but slightly less so, were the Costa de la Luz, Costa Blanca and Fuerteventura.
At a municipal level on the Costa del Sol, the best performers were Fuengirola (+14,53%), Nerja (+11,31%), Ronda (+10,13%), Benalmádena (+8,76%), Torremolinos (+8,22%) and Estepona (+2,83%).
