The Guardia Civil is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 71-year-old man from Posadas, Córdoba, who was reported missing on Tuesday.
The body was found after three days of searches involving helicopters. special tracking equipment and nocturnal units. The body was found inside the man’s car which was parked in an area of scrub land where it could not easily be seen.
Forensics experts are now examining the body and the vehicle in order to try and clarify the circumstances of the death. His family are reported as saying the man, who lived in Palma del Rio, had a heart condition but did not have any other health problems.
